    I wouldn't stress about not knowing git. It has so many different tools it can and will be complicated.

    I would recommend to study it as you need new functionalities out of it.

    I have used already long time (can't say exactly how long cause don't remember) but yesterday first time ever rebased branch so I looked into it while doing.

    A great way to start with git is to think of it as a backup solution. Write something, do a commit to describe your change, and push the change to your backup. Doing that alone will help you familiarize yourself with clone, commit, and push, which even today are my three most used git commands. After that, adding other commands becomes much easier.
