Looks like I'll be forced to buy Surface Pro 4 instead of macbook pro.

Why not the surface book? Since that would make a more sensible choice versus the MacBook

@HoloDreamer i think the best solution if you want to buy a macbook pro is to search for a refurbished one, I've saved almost 800 euros buying a refurbished mbp from the US ( I'm in Italy)

@Mayhem93 well, to be honest, I'm frustrated with windows 10 updates and my internet speed is making it a PITA. So I'm going for Macbook for basic stuffs, but with parallels, i can also use windows for my using fav IDE - VS in the same laptop.

@6160 that's a risky purchase. Not to mention the time delay with shipping, i don't think i can confidently purchase. Hope there will refurbished models in my own country

@HoloDreamer if you don't know anyone from the us that can deliver the Mac to you, you're absolutely right. You need to use some service that collect the package in the us and then ships that to you but I had some bad experience using those services :/

@HoloDreamer nope, I've used a couple of Italian services that used to ship only to Italy (I actually don't remember the names, it was 3/4 years ago) but with one it took 4 months to deliver the package and the other package never arrived. Welcome to Italian shipping services #fml

Depending on your place of purchase most stores like Best Buy offer a price match within the return period if the price every drops. So you could buy early and just get a price match later if they drop during announcements.

@HoloDreamer that frustration is totally avoidable. Think of how many people own a MacBook of any generation. If you'd have the surface book you'd at least stand out from anyone else (this is not the only factor, as the surface is a very capable device). My opinion is to read and watch reviews of it, especially if they are comparing it to the MacBook. (+ awesome looking touch screen and the fact that it doubles as a tablet as well)

@Mayhem93 I'm totally done with the idea of standing out and being unique from the rest. I was a windows phone user and used Lumia for last 4 years and switched to android just this year. I regret all the good opportunities and moments that i missed during those years because i was using a windows phone ie, being left out when friends were playing multiplayer games via wifi on their phone, or they were sharing movies left n right but this windows phone didn't support wifi direct, etc. Looking back, the experience was so depressing and I've been missing out a lot.

Never again.
