When you walk to the yard with a lappy to code some stuff in the nature, smth comes up and you leave your lappy running on a chair for 6+ hours, then finally remember it and it still has >75% juice w/o being suspended.

@netikras most likely unless your running something windows are not permitted to close down, but I cannot think of any such program right now.

I know the laptop I got from work goes to sleep if I do not use it and in that state can go for a long time.

Only problem is that vpn and remote sessions usually die as those programs are not designed for hibernation support. But thats more a question for he programs ;)
