Is there any way you can drive to this person's home and not physically convince him to employ logic?

I never really understood why the "push" end of ticket queues has to be protected from anything. In my book this is a publicly accessible endpoint which only enforces that either the ticket is signed by an employee or the subject is password management.
-
Voxera115854y@Lor-inc to often such systems are not designed to have an external endpoint or the security team never envisioned any one needing it.
-
bahua129044yOur system is like that too, but for cases like this we have a nice phone system for login help.
-
@Voxera Assuming any subsystem to be infallible to the point that you make the ticket manager depend on it is stupid. Not even RSA signing. Too many ways to lose the key.
-
My IT team ticket system only needs an email. Cam be any mail on the planet - No Auth, no nothing!
Also - you can open a ticket via an email...
It took me a whole 5 seconds to test the obvious. -

I joined said world in the late '90s, while I was in college, and did some minor internet activity in the early to mid '90s, in high school.
But I never got a cell phone until I was 22, in 2001, so I think I can count that as also being around before cell phones and widespread internet use. I didn't fully get rid of my landline until two years ago, and I kept it for the final ten years as a number to give to people I didn't want to be able to reach me in realtime. -
@stop It didn't. IT deleted the ticket, instead of closing it. Then firewalled the ticket server from me.

Gahan11484yit's about pathetic customer service which is everywhere nowadays!!! even the jio network in india doesn't allow you to connect to corporate VPN to work, and it took them literally a month to respond that!!! until then they just did time passed... asked my location 5 times and I had to reply that same answer 5 times!!!! seems nowadays customer service is either operated by AI (chat bots) or IQ of people is literally getting to zero!!!
