Had this with a 1.5 million lines of undocumented Spaghetti code codebase. The kind with classes spanning thousands of lines of code, with methods ranging from 400 to 1000 lines. And sprinkled in between all of the shit sandwich, a lot of the code was no longer useful but it was there to spit on me while I tried to figure out wtf it was doing. Amongst other lovely things.

It was the most miserable job I've ever had (almost 2 years) and it burned me out of programming for an entire year, or more. Considered changing careers, and I only stopped because I can't do anything else at all.

I don't think I've fully recovered yet.

@Lensflare I did. Ran away some years ago, I'm much better now. I pity the poor fucks working on it.

I did it once in Feb. Planning to do it again in Dec😅
