So I have spent some time playing with Python, but as I understand it JavaScript is the language I should learn first?

I'm a fully fledged VBA Developer of 10+ years btw

@liammartens it's been my bread and butter for many years but I have recently become redundant and find my skill set is very niche now, even financial institutions are using vba devs less and less. I'm going to make an effort to learn something that's going to be relevant in the next 6-10 years

Because of your corporate background i would recomend you to learn python first. It's good for data analysis and machine learning with googles tensor flow or facebooks fast text. After some time with python have look at, node and js. You will see it's easy to switch from python to js.

@heyheni you're right there's a ton of (mainly BI) jobs I have seen using python. I have started FreeCodeCamp(🔥) which is keeping me busy.
