Starting off, I believed that the "sudo" is some magic God that can fix all my problems with Linux.

It's just @root, but some say she's godly.

Just like God, sudo can not only solve, but also cause all of your problems.

@Bybit260 Noooooo! But I really want something that will fix all problems in my code, and my screen will sparkle, and there will be drum-rolls, the missing/wrong lines in code will be fixed to do exactly what I want them to do in my heart, and I will get paid for just executing the command.

I have realistic dreams, unlike few other people.

@sudo-compile When I was new to linux, noob and dumb, I used to compile with sudo.

One of my favorite stackoverflowisms is "When I try to do X I get permission denied", followed by "just use sudo you dummy", followed by "don't ever use sudo for X you dummy".

It's always interesting seeing who gets the downthumbs.

@sudo-compile just don't get caught... they usually sack you for that.

@C0D4 the work I do for this company can probably be done by a smart freshman undergraduate.
