What do you think about coffee? is it just a psychology need? or it really boosts you to code? question for those who drink coffee

Its effects varies from person to person, but once again, basing your entire "persona" around it is cringy.

PS: I can drink some if offered, but I don't mind spending years without it.

I drink sweet milk coffee, but only for the taste. Caffeine doesn't really affect me, except that I start to shake if I drink to much of it, which doesn't really help with coding :P

Coffee does not produce code, but it wakes me up enough (most of the time) to be bothered to deal with the day at hand. Another 5-6 hours sleep might cure that.

As @Jilano said, stereotyping is just bullshit, not all coffee drinkers code, and not all coders drink coffee, well, not yet anyway 😏

I drink loads of espresso/ristretto/black coffee. Mostly for the taste but the caffeine is useful too sometimes 😅

Hm, my addiction led me to premium coffee beans and becoming a hobby barista.

In the beginning it lead to an reduction of coffeeine.

But then I discovered a whole lot of new flavours and became addicted to the good stuff.

Nothing beats an fresh brewed coffee from fresh grinded beans with intense flavours. It's one of the things that truly relax me...

for me, it's primarily a bowel movement need =D

secondarily a psychology need to have something i like the taste of when i wake up, so that i can have at least one nice thing in a day.
