@C0D4 I would like to try docker as well. Virtualbox was just the first thing I was messing around with. I don't have any idea about the topology and tools associated with docker so I was thinking it would be a little harder for me to setup and manage. But I'm still googling just about everything right now so I guess it doesn't matter.
C0D464939328d@vomitmachine I've found VM's easier to deal with then docker, although I can see the appeal of setting up containers (mini servers) and deploying them, but I don't work with mini applications on the best of days to bother 😄
Docker + windows... just don't do it, that's just asking for trouble, actually I would run docker inside a linux vm for that.
@M1sf3t @C0D4 thanks for those tips. It'll probably be a last effort thing once I get all this stuff setup then. I'm still waiting on my architecture to come in.
Since I probably won't be dealing with singular apps very much on a lab environment docker instances won't be too handy, but it'll at least be interesting to mess with the tech.
alexbrooklyn14920328d@M1sf3t I still blame your pc and Windows :p
