I can't seem to update my node version, I tried to download n and it said it is not supported on 32bit computers but I am running Windows 10 64bit... can it not make up its mind about what my computer is?

@DLMousey yes for Windows it's really the best.

Glad your update went well. Node is giving me grief on Windows. Symlink errors everywhere 😣

I know something even better than Cmdr. Linux.

@sjzurek it wouldn't have been a true devrant post without someone preaching of our lord and saviour Linux

I can't understand why people punish them selves working on windows.
Simple lack of symlinks should be a deciding factor. I've spent hours on creating vagrant boxes for so called developers, who don't even grasp the idea. But yeah, Counter strike runs well on their windows.
Yesterday I had to make our app ie9 compatible. God I hate windows.... It's the little things that surface unexpected, those little invisible midges that come at night to suck your blood.

@sjzurek because it's really not that hard to use, it's a common target, it's a tool like any other tool requiring an understanding of the ecosystem. If you have a hard time using windows, you don't understand windows.

@superamadeus Exactly! It doesn't just work, you have to understand it. All the little quirks it has collected over the years, that are there just for the sake of backwards compatibility. Example: CSV import. On Linux, couldn't fault it. Asked colleagues to see how it works with files edited on windows. Ended up with extra day of work fixing bullshit, that shouldn't even existed.

@sjzurek I assume you're speaking of line endings? I suppose when you say that windows sucks, you really mean "I am not able to handle windows as a development target/environment".
