@thmnmlst Of course the desktop is the best. I hear the Win10 game is coming to 1.0 , I wonder if they will add the server multiplayers ever, if yes I would buy the beta as its cheaper.

I play the desktop version and run a server for me and my friends.

Ah, sweet memories. I got into software development from writing mods and custom launchers for my server. Played it since the days of classic, pirated it in alpha, bought it in beta 1.8.1 and played until release 1.8. Created lots of mods, plugins and modpacks. I remember aether I was out on beta 1.7.3 where you have to use single player commands.

I did, a bit, when I stopped playing Minecraft as is. I turned to Tell it for more things to do. Got bored rather quickly. @1nfiniteLoop

BTW guys the Windows 10 version is lightning fast. I just tried it last night after the patches.

I love Minecraft, but sometimes I just prefer to play star made (think Minecraft in space).

There's something about building and entire space worthy ship, complete with networked weapons systems, moving parts, ai controlled turrets, docking mechanics etc. Well worth a look!

@thmnmlst It isn't a mod it's a whole game in it's own right, has it's own custom built game engine. Isn't a mod, never was, which makes it even more impressive.

Can anyone tell me if the Windows 10 version will get 3rd party server support like PC? If yes I would like to buy the beta.

@thmnmlst I can't afford to but the PC version. Frankly it costs alot in India.

@thmnmlst Yes. The fact is I started playing MC only from 2015 so by the time I got a hang of it , it was alot expensive so I had to go for the launchers. I even bought the Win10 alpha but as it lacked server support I went for a refund.

Can anyone help? My CPU is heating up to 75 deg C while playing on a server.
