Riding along on a demo is the worst thing ever.

-Customer clicks buttons and things happen-

Customer: "Hey that's cool!"

Customer is now happy and excited.

Sales: "Hey would you like it to also.... "

- A LOT OF SHIT THAT THE THING DOESN'T DO / COMPLICATES / OVERLAPS SOME THINGS ELSEWHERE-

    Not sure if this is an improvment.

    Any salesperson that suggests shit to customers on a sales call at my firm that isn't a feature we have loses their commission and gets a shit perf review.

    Thankfully our salespeople have strong startup background, so we haven't seen that shit in awhile.

    When sales or any other team pitches in new ideas without reaching a consensus, well....

    That goes wrong for oh so many reasons.
