@KnightsOfCode Main reason: you don't have to switch between opened windows all the time. You can place all windows side by side and it's way more comfortable. I'm a Web-Dev so I often have multiple windows open ( browser, console, ide, browser dev tools, some chats, ftp client,...). For me it's a more efficient way to work.

I have the same setup at work. Plus two phone screens. Need more. There's never too much of desktop real estate. Edit: Synergy is used to connect the Mac as a 4th screen (and I can't use that keyboard if my life would depend on it. )

I really dont understand why one would need 4 screens. I found that 3 was more than enough, 4 gets overwhelming. But maybe thats just me.

@Zaknerd As @maysi stated nicely :) its all about real estate. I have two screens set up on the server and two sometimes 3 on the laptop setup simultaneously it improves my work flow when working with virtual machines as well. I can also switch between Win for testing Windows Caveats and still be using Linux for Coding :)

On server - OpenSUSE Tumbleweed as default and win 10

On laptop arch linux default with win 10.
