samson1958yHows your experience so far?
I bought one the day after the new pro models got announced. I'm still pretty clumsy working with it since it's my first non-Windows machine too (if you don't call the phones). I really will need time to get used to that several keyboard layers with the bottom left keys.
But so far I'm impressed by everything. I even think the display resolution looks more crisp than the one of my full hd display on my MSI laptop (also bought this year). And the battery time is just uber fckng sick compared to all laptops i have worked with so far -
@samson display and battery life are pretty awesome. However, I find minor issues, like tap to click works only after you login. It should be default i think. Also, I switch between windows and mac and hence keys confuse esp copy paste combo. I wish text selection was easier. Hopefully I'll get used to it.

Got mine in June, it also my first mac. I can relate about the trackpad. It is awesome

@HoloDreamer I'd recommend enabling the 3 finger drag gesture. The newer macbooks with force touch are nicer because they don't require so much pressure to click and drag. However the 3 finger drag makes it super trivial to select things (like text) or drag stuff around on screen.

Bought a macbook air last day with available budget i had - my first apple machine. I find it funny that, I learned cool trackpad gestures on my old Windows laptop that i didn't even know existed! - only because i spend few hrs with this macbook.
Thanks apple.
