iamai20044yNot all, can't say sorry. I'd like to think the distribution in both genders is equal.
-
What @iamai said.
The why for those that can't: conditioning. Many women are accustomed to received out-sized punishment for every minor infraction or exercising of their agency. -
I told my gf her form was wrong when we were doing yoga. she got mad and insisted she was fine. she was not fine.
-
Most woman will never admit wrong doing because they control us with you know what... 😉 😂
-
@SortOfTested I don't know about that chief... considering how they're generally privileged in the court of law and society
-
@12bitfloat
With that kind of positive thinking, it may one day be a reality for us 😆 -
@SortOfTested It's more difficult for a woman to build a career. It's easier for a woman to defend her rights regarding her children than it is for a man. It's also easier, although by no means easy, to get justice when a woman is victim of a sex crime. But then again, women are victims of those crimes way more often. Men have more convenient biological plumbing, and generally superior physical strength. Women tend to be able to use seduction for personal gain more effectively.
But in the end I think genders are pretty much equal — in how much misery they bestow upon each other for perceiving and treating each other as inequal. -
@bittersweet
Don't disagree on the spirit. But I'm also not going to engage in the incelbait stuff and possibly drag google/4chan into devrant.
🤷♀️ -
@SortOfTested
True.
I personally think anyone who truly thinks the other gender is somehow the cause of all problems either met one really evil person, and I'd feel bad for them — or they are looking for an easy scapegoat, in which case I feel sorry for them.
Relationships are difficult but rewarding. For most people currently under 40, the gratification isn't instant enough. Required skills like introspection, vulnerability and honest but compassionate communication are difficult to master.
I also think many people also make the mistake of repeatedly fishing in the same pond — If you are obsessively filtering by some standard, you'll keep running into partners with similar negative traits. From that point of view it's easy to start generalizing. -
@bittersweet
Yep. Never said anything of the sort. 12bit just inferred "by men." -
I see this more on males than on females to be honest. And I do interact with women far more than I do with males.
I don't think it has shit to do with gender, but more to do with crappy people. -
@12bitfloat
This is where men miss the perspective. They never had a cheer mom, or the HR lady put unreasonable barriers in front of them purely out of jealousy or some perception of what she feels is a "good job" for you.
Turns out, you can have some minor form of privilege and still have been gaslit and fucked up your entire childhood 🤷♀️ You also only tend to get that privilege if you walk the happy path where you're from. -
@SortOfTested incelbait is a word that I had not seen before...I am going to start using it now. Thank you

Axel406324yI don't agree at all
I think both are balanced
Both can be equally frustrating and very satisfying
My gf (my first one) and I have been together for almost two years, sometimes it's hard, both of us can be annoying at times but that doesn't matter to us, we love each other very much.
Let's see programming: oh God I fucking hate facing bugs and errors that I don't even know what in the world is causing them. However solving them, pushing a beautiful commit, is sooo satisfying
Yesterday I pushed a huge commit, fixed bugs, architecture and code refactor, new features, the app works perfectly...yes!

Damn, I really love programming. ❤️
It's way more uplifting and satisfactory than having a significant other.
Even my botched WP installs are more stable than most pseudo-longterm relationships nowadays.
Oh yeah and another thing:
How is it so extremely hard or even impossible for a lot of women to admit their own fucking wrongdoings to a close person?
Mind boggling.

programming is fun
