The other day, I accidentally broke the R key on my laptop keyboard. The mechanism still works, but the keycap no longer locks in

I go to buy a replacement, since it's really messing with my typing flow, and I find out it costs 7 USD per keycap, plus shipping. That means that to replace every key on my keyboard, it would cost me about $680!!

I only paid about $500 for the ENTIRE FUCKING LAPTOP AND YOU'RE GONNA CHARGE ME $7 FOR A SINGLE FUCKING KEY!!! FUCK YOU ASUS!!!

Individual package and handling cost way more than the keycap.

And if you where to order a complete set of keycaps it would probably be much cheaper per piece than for one at a time.

But yes, it does sound a but much.

I mean, it's a little steep, but it's only $7. I'd personally jut be glad that they had spares available to purchase tbh - many manufacturers don't.
