Am I the only one here to love Macbook but hate OS X and use Linux on Macbook?

Why would you buy a macbook to put linux on it? It's a clear waste of money.

@jirehstudios When I bought my laptop it was the best hardware which can be shipped to my location.

I bought a Mac book air with the intentions of putting a Linux distro on it, but decided to give osx a shot and decided to keep it as it's not actually that bad. How is it? Is the battery life still up to par?

@r0bb I had few issues when I game on OS X. Thanks to Linux commands like cpupower and thermald. I get better fps by setting governor to performance mode. Other than that, the battery life is on par with OS X.

@madrix999 exaclty ? I would rather buy a gaming series say ROG - mod it to shit - and run linux on it ~ without worrying about heating or battery issues ! ( trust me gaming laptops are best to run linux on )

@hunchie Ironically, windows has better GPU/CPU performance, control, and support than mac os. I hate windows, but when I launch my Minecraft modpack, it runs faster than mac os and Linux for that reason.

I'm dual booting with Ubuntu. I agree completely.
