lotd79228yPlenty of e-commerce solutions built on laravel, that offer that out of the box lol..
Wonder what they would reply if simply linked a GitHub repo... :D -
pchater5978y@classClass couple of days. I'll have it done in the morning lol. Work all night oh yeah!
-
pchater5978y@lotd Nope, you are close. More like Evil mode ;] simply for logging time :). VIM for actual code but I'm switching to Atom now.
-
O_o. I know this test. I might see you soon in our office.
Edit: nvm not flow. But the test is exactly the same.. -
@pchater sometimes you have to prove yourself to get a job, I just hope they are not taking you for a ride.
Good luck and let us know how you get on! -
pchater5978y@chrisrhymes nah didn't sound like they were taking me for a ride. I've been doing Dev for years just never done it commercially. :)
-
pchater5978y@DarkMukke Heyy! I didn't even mention Flow. Damn it. :p I take you are from the North East :) update: but it does mention it in that file I should have omitted.

Is that some program for sorting todos?Looks really good for organizing your work! -
ultrono23588yThat's frankly a stupid test imo.
Granted, it's not hard, just time consuming.
You cannot test the entire breath of someone's knowledge in a skills type test, although this bordered of a full blown job.
I written commerce systems from scratch in the past. Unless I'm being paid a lot money, never ever again - even with a good framework. -
pchater5978y@rallport well all my efforts didn't go a miss, I done a sterling job and went above and beyond for the company which made them feel valued and landed me the position :)
-
pchater5978y@rallport tbf I'm no longer there even though I had a month trial, just simply did not work out. That decision was made out today.
Laravel applied, no laravel code or projects and slapped into Wordpress theme building & working with their opencart bastardisation of an ecommerce system. = waste of my time and efforts.
Applied for a £22k Web Developer Job Php laravel in particular and get tasked with this.
Well that isn't hard.
