Here's a hypothetical scenario: what if all web-developers in the world united and collectively decided to act as if there are no other browsers except Firefox and Chrome?
I know I do. Of course, everything I ever made targeted younger audiences, so only idiots, Apple fanboys and the ocassional Opera user used anything else...

    I feel like the job gets a whole lot easier when you simply learn to develop for those browsers instead of resisting them.

    I mean it's not like it is as hard as IE6 anymore.

    @Letmecode I actually think that it's not a bad thing to have lots of browsers, but I do think they should work similarly to firefox and chrome.

    @Letmecode Opera uses Blink now, as Chrome, Vivaldi, etc..
    Btw the more choice the better, imo, if they don't try to pushes their features against standards for stupid reasons. Nowadays Edge, Chrome and FF seems to stick far better to consensus then it was some years ago...

    @Letmecode already 3 Years? Wow ^^. My point about Opera was that since they killed their own engine, it's less specific optimisation to work on.

    I personally enjoy safari....I never really felt the need to install a neq browser when I have one already installed and synced between my devices.

    @StefanH haha that is fair.

    @StefanH its UI looks shit anyway. When trying to install an add-on/extension it tried sending me to the iStore (or whatever it's called) but just failed to connect (I was running FF and Chrome at same time. Yes I had internet..) so basically it failed. Yes on Windows. Yes new installation. Uninstalled immediately.

    I will stay to Vivaldi and fight for its rights to survive :D

    Firefox is okay but chrome sucks unless you're on a desktop. It MURDERS your battery life. Chrome wasn't always like this...

    Vivaldi is great though. But Yeah would be alright as long as it's Chromium browser instead of chrome, i don't need all those Google tracking things/proprietary stuffs
