What is the one thing that you would reinvent?

Windows vista. It would be awesome to have the beauty of vista with the stability of win 7 and 10

A bit late here, but email. It started simple but after years of putting hacks on top of hacks its now a nightmare to make a server for.

At first it was very simple. Just SMTP and/or IMAP. No verification, just the send/receive. Then there was the verification. Not too bad yet. Then there was spam and spam guards. A little challenging but still manageable. Then came TLS and SSL which uprooted everything and is now mandatory to exchanging mail with any trusted domain. I'm still trying to configure dovecot and postfix to use my SSL certs properly. (Among other issues)
