I run a service with 157311 (mostly inactive) users and I test in production.

Why?

Now you know the reason why your users are mostly inactive.

@slaat because last time I pushed to production my program failed because of a lib incapable of handling an edge case that is no longer possible to reproduce.

Oh, and because I just rewrote much of the program and I don't have any testers.

@vish it's actually a bot. When I say "user" I mean someone that the bot can see, but is not necessarily someone who signed up for anything.

@Frederikam Ah..I see. Don't take that seriously. :) Even I test my Mashape API directly on prod. Can't afford the time&money for testing.

Now at 622,860 users

I must be doing something right I suppose.
