Come on, best practices are always the best practices sometimes they may seem overkill [this case obviously] but if you make it a habit they'll be handy in every project.

    CSS frameworks are pretty laughable.

@Root writing all css from scratch seems pretty tear prone, but I also don't like css frameworks

@AleCx04 Yeah, it depends on the project complexity and scale.

    This meme is botched.
    Redis - sure.
But vsCode and fish ... 🧐
They aren’t some deLuxe things which cost time to use.
They are tools that save time.

Not like you go ”Oh I’m gonna edit my side project in notepad because I don’t have time to open vsCode”

@kiki I didn't say it was hard. I said it was tear inducing meaning: me no like writing css.

And yes, I do understand it, but would much rather have a team of dudes that like working with it take care of that while I do other things.

@AleCx04 dm or mention me if you need a css prodigy and if your company relocates.

@kiki I'm imagining you waiting around for that magical company that is in dire need of a CSS prodigy and also happens to be in the process of offshoring to Russia...

And then, as I scoffed at the ridiculousness of this idea, I realized you could probably get a job for at least one, if not both, US presidential campaigns.

Also, VSCode is badass. I use nano and vim and emacs, I use Sublime Text and Text++ before it... I've used xCode and Android Studio in modern times and Eclipse and about a dozen "beans" before that... and VSCode is badass.

@HiFiWiFiSciFi I come to every company and I’m instantly the css guy. I want to work at the company where I’m the least skilled one in css.

@kiki come down to Texas my dude. I know you know your way around CSS like a true pro. And you got Clojure listed in your devrant account? my g youse perfect for us.

CSS is of all things that I do the one I have the most issues with, but understand my way around my notes and online documentation well enough to properly understand it. Still, to have someone with such creative skillset would definitely be a huge plus for any team ngl.

@kiki Me too, sadly. I’m often better with CSS than the designers and front end devs ._.
