How do you guys pronounce router?
rowter (as in rowdy) or rooter?

    Not a native english speaker, but I pronounce it 'rooter'. Never heard of anyone pronouncing it in any other way.

    Native English speaker here: Definitely "rowter." If I heard someone call it a "rooter" I'd probably laugh.

    Rooter. Why? Because rawter just screams American for me. The last thing I want is locals from whatever country I'm travelling to looking at me like an old disease.

    Oddly enough, routes you drive on are usually pronounced "root" around here.

    In german you say Rooter. At university they said rowter and I do a mix of both.
