Did you end up with a desktop setup at home or do you strictly stick with a laptop and dock it at home?

I'm strictly on a laptop and sometimes just hook it up to my monitor on my desk. You?

I work remotely on desktop. Best value for the price if you don't need mobile computer. I don't do business trips etc so laptop is completely unnecessary for me.

@dfox I'm waiting to setup my home standing desk that will just be a docking station for the laptop. For now, I'll use my laptop all over the house, don't have an extra monitor unfortunately.

laptop with ultrawide monitor. Have a desktop for gaming but for programming straight laptop with "dock" at home

I use a Chromebook, raspberry pi and SSH. Maybe a tablet for reading documentation.

My set up is as minimal as I can cope with. With git I can commit offline even test front end changes and NodeJS backend business logic in the browser itself.

I've found it remarkably liberating to work this way, but it really isn't for everyone.
