Oy don't diss project managers... i am one.... albeit only because im the only developer in the company and my boss (business owner) Hasn't the foggiest what i actually do, or should i call myself lead developer... gotta be better than his title for me 'Software Development Manager' sounds like both now i think about it.

I was a pm for years. Turn lemons into lemonade. If you do a good one can keep the project on schedule and get you what you need to make your job easier.
They are good at running after people, scheduling ... So use them to help you.
But, just so all my devRant friends do not hate me - 'the bad PMs suck' 😊
