Can I just rant for one second. Being an entry level developer sucks. I would work for free right now just to have some structure and gain experience!

Finding the right environment at that level is crucial. I was so lucky so work for a start-up with a lead developer who really mentored me.

Knowing nothing about your situation, I'd say if that's not what you're getting, you have the power to change it! Might not be that simple, though.

@AnonymousGuy I am looking for a new job since my last contract ended before the holidays which means it's been super slow lately! I would love an opportunity like that though it sounds amazing! I just get bummed out sometimes since I'm all too aware how much luck plays a role in all of this haha

@reduxtris Might get a few pointers if you specified what type of work you do...

@ghost1227 I am primarily a web developer, but I just graduated this year with my cs degree, more info here https://kfitzi.io haha but yeah I'm at that point where I am studying / practicing white boarding and other general cs interview skills and working on side projects to make up for my lack of experience.
