I like Drum & Bass. I also like the type of music that the game Deus Ex has.

Some good classic rock from the 70's and after. Maybe some piano covers of newer songs.

I am making my own compilation. Let me know if you would like to try when it's ready. I just dont seem to find the one I like.

I have a few different playlists for programming in different moods. They are quite different. Most electronic though.
    I have one with
    - dubstep
    - deep house
    - ambient
    - metal / hard rock without vocals
    - emotional classical music (either just piano / a few strings / opera)

I work beat to instrumental music with a lot of bass in it.

    Tropical house like Kygo

It really depends on your tastes. Some may prefer classical music (and I know it cause I've had been attending music school so I know it helps) whereas others may want more chillout, ambient or even something more lively. The choice is yours so my advice? Just experiment with every type of music and see if it fits you well 😉

Bach.. It really stimulates that "technical" part of the brain

Usually some chiptune or drum and bass. However, If I'm doing something more hands on like drawing schematics on paper I like a bit of 20's jazz. :)

I listen to synthpop or ambient to get into the zone

I usually go with a binaural beat with a mix of carrier frequencies. Gamma 40hz usually gets me where I need to go!

I listen to progressive metal/djent mainly - try Tesseract or Animals As Leaders :)

I really like hardstyle for that extra energy or piano covers for more focus. Quite contradictive, now that i think of it.

Metal and rock for the most time, but sometimes I loose focus on work when one of my favorite songs starts. 😅

Whatever comes to hand, but now I'm on a Megadeth binge so heavy metal
I mostly listen to heavy metal and rock either way, and silly 80s and 90s songs when I'm working on design related stuff (nothing too big, just silly photoshop stuff)

Neoclassical and metal does it for me. No vocals though. Instrumental all the way.

I either listen to ambient noise, or play my music library of epic/dance/edm/instrumental music. I found an excellent source which has been working great for me cuz the mixes are soooo good. It's called the Going Quantum Podcast and so few people know about it. He makes hour long mixes every week and I get in the coding zone so easily when listening to it.
