I get so much flak for being a grammar nazi too. And I'm Jewish... 😕

People seem to hate the prospect of working on improving themselves by learning from their mistakes, for things which will only be beneficial to them in the future. Only exceptions I've found, where the people embrace corrections, is in my engineering school. There's a huge disparity between engineers and regular folk, and I believe this is one of the underlying reasons. Engineers are more okay with experimentation, failure, and self-improvement.
