Hmm, Linux can be way easier now. My parents find it easier to use than mac/windows. I don't think you can generalize it like this anymore but 10 years ago I'd have agreed with you.
Can't say much about the others because I haven't used them in forever

Among three of my friends one is the Apple user, the other is the Windows user and I'm the Linux user. And with two other guys it's the same thing.

@dontbeevil I just swapped out the very core of my distro, my kernel. No error, no complaining, rebooted, works.

Optimized speed, optimizied needed features, removed unneeded.

@dontbeevil Yes, if you dont know what youre doing youre most likely killing yourself with this os. But if you know, youre unstoppable. And neither Mac nor Windows can do these things or come anywhere near.
