Diversity is irrelevant. I'd take a 100% white men team any time over one where 50% are useless diversity hires.
What's relevant is not excluding good people regardless of sex and race, but those will have to apply in the first place. -

How exactly do you define diversity? Color, race, gender, age? I would give preference to people's thought processes than anything else even if they all look robotic like -

Btw., competent black women are hit hardest by that diversity shit because they have to fight the most now to prove that they are not useless diversity hires. That's even worse than for competent tech women in general. -
just because a team isn't "diverse" in color doesn't mean the company is racist. there are just far more white males in the field. more females and people of color should enter the field if these numbers are a problem to them. can't blame white people when at this point the problem starts somewhere else

@asgs I’ve been in a similar environment and it wasn’t that nice to work there, people will make subtle racist comments and all every now and then. It’s not uncommon to see such in this southern part of the world
Got an offer from some company, they seem nice and all and the stack is something I’m used to. But my issue is diversity, I went to their office once and I didn’t see any diversity whatsoever in the team, at all.
