Defi4NT14938yNow owning one after years of 20€ keyboards, I just love the feeling and the sound, it's something else, and depending on the brand you choose I would say that durability is usually better with mechanical ones

tilde31728y- tactile and audio feedback while typing
- satisfying experience
- improves typing efficiency [citation needed]
- customizable with your own key caps, etc
- they last longer than any scissor switch keyboard
I've been looking to buy one but they're far too expensive for my wallet. Someday soon hopefully. -

rayanon13608yThe tactile feedback is what I love. And then there is some pure joy of typing on a mechanical keyboard which I can't explain in words. But I do not enjoy the noise as much as other people do. I usually like softer sounding switches like the brown ones.

RStrydom6848yYou would be surprised how often you actually type something like a password or a long sentence, or even a hotkey combination, and you can't for the life of you say 100% if you actually pressed one of the keys you intended or if you know your hand slipped a bit if you accidentally pressed another key. With mechanical keyboards you are always sure which saves you time and builds confidence. With confidence and practice you then also build accuracy.
Using a membrane keyboard is like training to become an archer but only being able to see where you hit the target on video surveillance afterwards. -
Synti10038yI had a mechanical keyboard once and it was awesome for 2 hours before I accidentally poured some ice tea on it. After that it was useless. Now because of my habit of pouring stuff onto keyboards I use cheap ones. If I wouldn't be so god damn clumsy I'd prefer mechanical over a cheap shitty keyboard any day.

Since I remember, I needed a new keyboard each 6/10 months. Perhaps it's because piano+guitar+code??? I bought a mechanical 10 months ago and is not showing any sign of use. 😍😍

Cant explain. Ever since i bought one ive been in love and much prefer it to a regular keyboard
