I suddenly have no regrets leaving LastPass when they were bought out and started to go to shit.

Lastpass now contains several trackers.

    @Root isn't that offline only though?

    As much as I hate it, I do need a cloud based password manager.

    You can put the keepass file into any file cloud and let it sync between your devices.

    @C0D4 send me your password in txt files and create a post/mention me when you need your password. I will write it here as soon as I see.

    I've been using keepass(now KeepassXC) for 17 years. The thought of trusting the encryption of such critical data to a company is simply outrageous to me. I will always need my passwords. I can't name a single company though that I'm sure will exist that long.

    Also, I was and am sure that any company that handles my passwords is going to do something shitty, either with my data, or with their position holding my data. The actions of Lastpass were completely predictable.

    @C0D4 Yep, local only.

    How about automated rsync goodness?

    @Root

    Nextcloud works great too.

    I love that saving my database on one desktop updates it on any others I use.
