I'm not pretentious.

I dunno about the titles because I'm just a lowly student, but the overwhelming majority of people (particularly men) have no connection with their mental state or emotions, and are therefore deeply upset by the notion that their opinion could be wrong because it qualifies as a threat to their objectivity.

@homo-lorens dude, a bad personality is a bad personality. Although, in this field, one might feel that they are being threatened since the nature of work directly attacks their intelligence.

@rantsauce I'm not saying they aren't assholes, I'm just saying this is _why_ they are assholes. Doesn't make them any less unbearable or straight up harmful.
