Yay! it's backed by microsoft, and I'm not generally the one to support microsoft, but I really like Typescript and it goes very well along with Visual Studio Code

Yay! I used to use coffee but using typescript with added ES6 features and syntax especially in the atom editor with the typescript package installed is sweet!

@jasonroyle Never used coffeescript, but heard only bad things about it xD

@afduarte yeah, I liked coffee to start off with as it normally makes for short and tidy code and makes it easy to define and extend classes but there are limits to it's simple syntax and I don't think I was ever really happy with my compile process
