FREAKING STUPID **** EXCEL
Goddammit, spend hours and hours debugging a csv file generation... It always missed a zero.... Guess what: Excel deletes fucking shit leading zeros -_-

=text(cell_content) for every cell, dump after. Or does it remove even in this case?

@KeyWeeUsr not quite sure, I haven't even thought about the possibility that excel removes leading zeros...

An external company delivered a solution for us that read data from csv files with several thousand lines. Whenever new data was needed, it needed to be added to the csv and then a SQL stored procedure loaded it into the database and pushed to various environments.

Problem was, the default program to open the csv was excel so it automatically cut off all the leading zeroes and therefore ruined all the days when the saved csv was uploaded.

I don't know whether I hate Excel or the external company more over this...
