Has anyone gotten a job through LinkedIn?

Yes, I've worked at two of the top software companies. Both jobs began as messages from their own recruiters on LinkedIn.

I haven't got jobs directly through it but I know they looked at my profile after an interview and I think it may have sealed the deal. I do know people that have got jobs because recruiters from companies contracted then via it

I've been contacted by recruiters on it that lead to jobs twice.

But be aware they know nothing and are just doing keyword searches. Been contacted about all sorts of jobs I'm not even remotely qualified for

Almost had one at Collab and another at Smart Consulting, but I was offered a lot more than those two at my previous company.

In Fiji, people use LinkedIn to fix cheeks.

I was the idiot who left that job thinking the next opportunity was better. LinkedIn has since yet to point me in the right direction again.

I get atleast 4-5 calls in a month directly referred from LinkedIn so yeah there might be lot of people who might have got job via LinkedIn.

I was just curious, most of my traffic comes from Dice or LinkedIn.
