Leverage. This is a noun, there is already a verb: lever. If 'levering' something doesn't sound good, well, that's because it's not an appropriate verb for what you are describing. We're better than the Marketing dept, stop wastaging everyone's time.

That's one of my co-worker's favorite verbs, along with "utilize". He likes picking the most complicated words he can, even when single-syllable words work fine instead. Whenever I talk to him I have to spend a little extra effort mentally translating him into normal English.
