    Not at all, i am a huge pessimist.

    Hmmmmm I don't know, I don't really have any attachment to my code. If anyone can improve it then let them. I think my code is pretty good but always open to improvement. Years of being in teams where the mantra of "last person to touch the code is responsible for it" have sort of drilled the 'no attachment' thing into me.

    @bluescreen I sometimes get far too attached. Especially when I've written a complex script which has taken days
    Then... there's also code I don't want to go back to and edit

    I actually get excited when people give me recommendations to make my code better.

    We learn from each other. Coding has always been that way and will continue.

    @Jumpshot44 and when we stop learning from eachother because we think our code is better is when we stop getting better.

    I think this might come down to whether or not you suffer from imposter syndrome. lol

    People think differently and therefore our code is different. There may be several options to solving a problem. I always study the code if I think it looks weird and try to analyze the thoughts behind it, I might learn something!
