1. Go to an ophthalmologist and get some screen/reading goggles. 0.8-1 dioptres already make a huge difference in an 8+ hours work day.
2. Get some eye drops, you will need them from time to time. You can buy them in little plastic fioles that you can store in your office desk drawer. As soon as your eyes feel dry or tired give them a drop or two. Works like magic for me.
3. Rest. Every 40-60 minutes stand up, stretch, look into the distance if possible. Also close your eyes from time to time for half a minute and try to relax them.
4. Try to sit well. No kidding. Sitting wrongly leads to a stiff neck which in turn can give you headache up to migraine. -
YADU13964ySomething that really helped me personally was turning on the blue light filter (night mode) on all my devices.
I find the orange light is much easier on my eyes than the blue light. I keep it turned pretty far up at all times. Before I did this my eyes would get pretty sore, for the past few years, no problems.
Also, take breaks from staring at your screen. -
Set screen brightness according to the ambient light level and use dark theme if not in direct sunlight.
How is headache necessarily an eye problem? -

adnanjpg184y@electrineer well, while I'm commuting after work I start to feel some eye burn, and as I arrive home I start to feel the headache and my energy drops to 0.

@adnanjpg This may sound silly... But have you considered taking an allergy test?
Is there an increased pollen activity in your area?
