I'm a student and I love cms systems. So now I want to create my own website on top of one. I know html CSS JS and PHP. Can someone recommend a cms that is not so hard to learn? I know I will need time. But I appreciate fast solutions. They boost my motivation to move on :)

Well. Thanks. I read that WordPress isn't as easy to customize (template design) as it is for the user

There are some nice looking Laravel based CMS solutions, you might look into them a bit.

if your goal is to learn programming ditch the idea of a cms, and build something by your own

Joomla is a better option for learning web dev. Wordpress is more designer-focused in how it works and the clients it attracts.

Dump the CMS idea, it won't help in the long term. If your goal is to get started fast go with MeteorJS

Umbraco if you're looking for a dotnet CMS. Once you understand how it works converting your HTML template will be a breeze.

@Artemix that is true. They should have ported umbraco to dotnet core in a year or so. Can't wait to use umbraco on Linux :D
