Fuck microsoft for fucking the entire naming system of .net framework and .net core.

I haven't used .net for a while now, what did they do now?

They tend to fuck up most good things they touch -_-

Nothing new.Its just that I have recently learnt .net core and I knew there was a parallel version just didn't know that core was the only word that fucking seperated them. And where work they thought us core but are use .net framework for development.

Since october 2020, there is only 1 name

.net.

Everythoing else is not activly worked on (But some have LTS versions). (.Net framework, .net core).

For new projects, target .net 5.

Try to migrate old projects to .net 5 (Easier said than done tho)

I recall seeing in the docs, that upwards 90% of projects would be easier rewritten from scratch 🤣
