My office Mac has ruined the development experience for my personal Windows.

Mac is just so freaking good.

That's how bad Windows is.

I love their workspace management system. Aside from that I’ve had a much better dev experience with Linux. That said the ux with macOS is so awesome that it alone leads me to use it more often. Windows is a dumpster fire and other than being required for compatibility with certain software I avoid it at all costs. I don’t know how it’s possible to fuck up an OS that badly

@demoralizeddev Don't look into the hell-hole that is the windows file system.

@xMadxHatterx have you noticed how much overhead windows explorer adds to file ops?

Try running your file ops in CMD or powershell and see the difference in speed.
