Eariel19088yPresentations on Google Docs are limited but they're a safe bet. Just check them out.

RexOmni5468yIt's so sad that I can't find any viable replacement for Microsoft office for native Linux.
Google Slides is the best workaround I've found. -
@Eariel yes. It tried that, but right when I needed it, it stopped working. It just wouldn't upload.
-
lopis168yThat's why you export a God damn pdf and nothing goes wrong. It won't preserve your shitty animations and everyone will be happier.

willol13898yPDF is da shit
Latex is da shit too
Never had problems with libreoffice though, far better than OpenOffice for me! But not as good a Microsoft Office, I have to admit -
Everyone out there, why dont you just try onlyoffice desktop editors.
I wont even try to prove that it is best.
Just try it once and you will be amazed by its compatibility with ms office and its stability. -
incrholg4908yOffice 365 online works quite OK. Besides, it's open source, if it is so easy for you, help to make it better. Just one PR ;)

If you use office to run a presentation you're just begging for problems, no matter what office or OS.
Just export it as PDF and it'll just work and look good on every machine. -
Not a problem.
People complain about office on linux that libre is ruins the .docx files
This solves their this problem.
Linux is now a true alterbative to windows. -
@AssadBinTahir
I hope so.
I have been looking for a good suite forever and never found one. So I hope this will be a keeper for school.
Also, side note... I hope I have TNR installed. If I don't... Then, well I may have just lost 20 points on all my school papers. I don't remember installing it. Oops. -
@AssadBinTahir man, I really wanted to like this, I mean the interface is simple, but it is lacking SOOOOO many features present in modern word processors.
It also refuses to use the Microsoft fonts, so that's a huge deal breaker.
Oh well, but thanks for the suggestion. I appreciate it. -
@poster983
Can you mention the features you find missing in it? Apart from fonts.
I hate libre office and every other office suite on linux.
There, I said it.
It is the cancer of linux. I had a presentation today ant it just kept crashing. It changed all my master slides.
It drives me SOOOOO crazy.
(PS. HOW FUCKING HARD IS IT TO EMBED FONTS INTO A PPTX. I MEAN COMEON!
