Probably a mathematician. I would be a very different person though, because a key element to my current lifestyle is that I never have to use my mathematical insight to the fullest and therefore I can work despite hangovers from nearly any substances. If I had to be sober to get anything done I'd need a level of self control which is very far from me at the moment.

I thought for sure this would be a @Wisecrack rant.

Oh wow this speaks to me on so many levels

    1. Look up math
    2. Write function
    3. Get high
    4. ...
    5. PROFIT

@Root, pretty much known for that now.

@Inxentas, the only process you need.

OP, have you been introduced to the wonderful world of math-on-bathsalts?

    Todays topic: prime factorization.

@Wisecrack I don't like math on drugs, they weaken my reasoning skills and my ability to follow procedures.

@homo-lorens Come on, have you never watched a meth head meticulously clean lint from their shirt? Or a coke fiend obsessively vacuum after a spill?

These are very clearly people following a process. The fact that the process is best characterized as a downward spiral into madness and addiction isn't important.
  • 2
@Wisecrack No, the important detail is that the process isn't mentally challenging. The procedure of vacuuming is dead simple, you plug the device in the wall, push the button, put the head where you see dirt, then push the button again when you are satisfied with the dirt level.

@Wisecrack In mathematics the most complex procedure that's remotely as easy is Gauss elimination aka solving linear equation systems.

"then push the button again when you are satisfied with the dirt level."

Thats an odd way of saying "when its clean."

What if the floor is made of dirt?

What if we live in zimbabwe (my spellchecker insists this is wrong and keeps suggesting 'bamboozle' instead) and lets say mugabe has only allocated us 743 watt-hours a day. How are we supposed to clean all the dirt off our dirt floor Lorens? HOW?

Can you imagine what that must be like. Oh the humanity! This is why its important you take your soma, and get back on the bicycle-generator/giant atomic hamster wheel. For the gory of Arstotzka of course.

I encourage you to study mathematics. We need improved hamster wheels.

    @Wisecrack 😂
    You’re amazing

@Root Well thank you. I'm glad you dig.

@homo-lorens no reason why you can't continue your mathematical education via a distance learning program...apart from time and energy that is.
