    use that money to move elsewhere where your environment isn't trying to bankrupt you @stupid-punk

    @heyheni well considering I just moved to where I currently am for a job and I can no longer borrow my mom's car all the time, that isn't really an option.

    @heyheni good idea but where is that ?

    @stupid-punk What about a bike?

    @c3r38r170 there's no bike lanes or sidewalk and the road is 55 mph that goes from my house to my work. I don't think it'd work well.

    @MadMadMadMrMim there is a bus but it's inconvient because it only comes once an hour and I have to walk a while to get to. I can do it until I get a car if I need to go into the office, but it isn't what I want to do long term.

    @stupid-punk noone does.
    walkings good for you though.
    personally i think we should have invested more in public transportation for the masses that goes practically everywhere and raised the price of gas. get all the hos off the road.

    @MadMadMadMrMim yeah but I can't personally invest in public transit and if I can't reliably get to work when they want to me there in person it's an issue. For the past 6 years since I got my license I've just shared cars with my parents, took buses, and skateboarded places - it just isn't possible in the city I'm living in now unfortunately.

    I'd only buy a car if I'm living in an underdeveloped 3rd world country with no public transport system and no shared bikes. Like the US

    I love car shopping. Can I do it for you? I’ll come back with a nice 90s shitbox that runs and is fun to drive..
