Is anyone else the only permanent full-time remote developer at your company?

I'm not.... In my country most of the company run by the mentality of "if I don't see you working in the office , it is consider you are not working."

So no remote for me ....

I'm the only one who is mostly remote now, except when working with real hardware. The others don't like WFH (WTF?). Before Corona, WFH was not even an option.

Things run nicely so far, and my boss has learnt that when I run out of work, I will first ask my direct peers whether they have something to hand off, and if they don't, I'll turn to my boss to give me more work.

What I like best about WFH is the time not spent on commuting and the silence.

@asgs yes... This is how my country somehow became the most infected ...

@Fast-Nop I don't know their circumstances but I can relate to them not liking WFH, I currently do that (full-time) and it sucks (I'll rather do that 1-2 times a week at most, and I'm primarily introverted). But like many things in life, there are tradeoffs to the three approaches.
