How do you guys prevent yourself from overworking? With deadline pressures I feel like it is very easy to work more than your regular 8 hours20

I'm in a company with no senior devs I can look to for mentoring. How do you go about scaling with the company without a developer more senior to guide you during development?
I feel like I'm always second guessing decisions.13 -

PM wants to integrate a new library to our application. I spend a week prototyping a demo only to be informed that this integration already exists in the application.

Deleting 3 weeks worth of work through incorrectly stashing and popping changes. I don't know why it was a good idea to leave my changes untracked.

Boss wants me to become lead developer on a huge project; I still consider myself Junior and feel like there is still more for me to learn before I can even accept something like this. The company is amazing and I would love to step into this role but I fear that I will only disappoint.
What would you do? If I should take it; could you recommend resources that would help me level up?8 -

How do I know if I am pushing my work output too hard? How can I let my team know I'm not trying to make anyone look bad?
My CEO uses me as an example often of what a hard working dev looks like. I personally just enjoy working on the product. I don't like attention and I can't help but feel like I'm getting too much spotlight opposed to the other devs. 🤷3
