Not only Synology's REST API documentation is outdated, but I have to deal with this.

Let alone the fact that login in a GET request where username and password are passed as query string in URL.

    afaik Google apis love doing that too. Here, I fetched the data for you, 200, the data says: "403 not authorized" :)

    Seen some people think a server returning any code other than 200 is critically wrong (presumably because it appears red in the browser)

    These are old APIs from people who were not sure and sold on statuses codes. I am dealing with these on daily basis, nothing new. 😂

    @b1tnuk3d it’s Synology. They are well known company. And their devices are not cheap either. I’m sure they have the resources. They just don’t care.
