Windows sticky notes are a pain in my ass. If you use them please use something better like one note. You will make the world a better place.

Every tool for what it is, sticky notes are for the dame thing you would use post its.
Small reminders, then you delete them.

Every tool has a use case, make sure you are within it, you will be happy if you stay within the god damned use case.

Notable/Notable with a private git repo behind it.

OneNote is too heavy weight. I'd use it for school maybe. I want something that uses close to 0 RAM, that's in my face 24/7 so I actually get reminded but doesn't sound an alarm because it's annoying, and that I can access quickly by switching windows. I sometimes use Notepad to write messages before sending them.

I Will take a look.
Notable does the job for me. Has a dark theme and a usable tagging system. Data is just text - so git has no issue with it.

@magicMirror that is why I use obsidian too! Plus tje concept of second brain by linking documents together.
