    I haven't tried it yet, but if it is a good piece of technology, it shouldn't matter that it's a Microsoft product

    Don't be a sheep.
    Microsoft was and still is one of the greatest motivators of technology over the last decades. Their influence on software technologies, methodologies and patterns changed and are still changing the world.
    You may not like some of their decisions over the years, so do I, especially under Balmer, but disregarding their work and accomplishments over the years, especially in the latest time is being a blind sheep.

    @TechnoTrumpet

    I'm feeling the change .net core coming out as open source with asp.net mvc and sane command line tools, bash for windows, powershell for linux/osx, 24bit color support in windows console and this goes on and on ... I think microsoft has a bright future with the new CEO and direction they are going. And also I have to say FU BALMER good youre gone!!!

    I didn't said their tech sucked.
    And i don't like microsoft ecosystem, yeah.
    Is it better? Yes. They try to do open source, but if you want to work with it, then EVERYTHING must be done on windows 10.
    That's it...
